A stress-free solution, the Rambo® Optimo Summer Sheet is made from a polycotton outer fabric with a 40% natural cotton blend, offering superior breathability and exceptional comfort. The rug's design is also especially suitable for broader horses, with an innovative elongated hood shape, given the elevated range of freedom and movement, often an issue with many summer sheet designs. The tail flap and PVC tail strap provide extra security with an easy clean. The disc front closure and integrated Rambo® split technology focus allow for greater shoulder freedom. Coupled with our unique dual leg arches for more stretch and flex, this rug reduces pressure and increases wearing pleasure!

Sizing

Using a soft measuring tape, measure from A (the center point of the chest), across the widest point of the shoulder and to B (the center point of your horse’s rear, under the tail). Ensure your measuring tape is level and taut, which is easiest with 2 people. The number of inches is your horse’s true size. To learn more about properly sizing your horse click here.

Weight & Function

This is a summer sheet, intended to protect your horse from the sun and flies/insects on warm days while also remaining breathable.

Turnouts, blankets & sheets serve a variety of functions. Turnouts act as a waterproof insulator layer, helping to maintain condition in cold weather. Stable blankets are not waterproof and simply provide insulation for warmth. Other sheets (cooler, competition, scrim, etc.) excel at a number of other functions. Please be aware that conditions may vary in a short time span, and always ensure your horse is comfortable under the current conditions. Product Fit

This sheet fits similar to Rambo Turnouts, which run just slightly larger than a standard sheet. This turnout will typically fit as measured. For those familiar with the the Rambo Optimo Turnouts, the Optimo Summer Sheet runs more true to size than the larger fit of the Optimo Turnout.
