When you shop at Performance Horse Blankets, we hope you love what you order! However, we understand that returns are sometimes necessary. Need a different size? Product didn’t work out? Change your mind? We’re here to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your experience by making the return process hassle free.

Our Returns & Exchanges Policy

All returns & exchanges qualify for FREE return shipping (within the contiguous U.S.) when you use one our convenient pre-paid labels!

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a refund within 90 days of receiving your order. Additionally, you can exchange or return for store credit within 365 days of receiving your order.

All items must be returned in new condition and with original packaging. If items are not returned in new condition with original packaging, your return may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee (see details below).

Once your return reaches us, we will process your return and issue your necessary refund, credit, and/or exchange. You will be notified via email when your return has been processed.

If you experience a product defect or fulfillment issue (i.e. missing, damaged, incorrect, warranty, etc.), please contact us prior to returning your product. See below for more details.

How to Return/Exchange an Item

Step 1: Visit our Returns & Exchanges Portal to initiate your return and request your pre-paid shipping label. Return labels will be emailed shortly after submitting your return request. You can also  logging into your Account view to start the process.

2. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
3. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
4. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
5. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
6. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
7. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
8. Click Request return

Step 2: Once approved, pack your return in an appropriately sized package and affix your pre-paid shipping label. 

Step 3: Drop off your package at your most convenient UPS/FedEx/USPS location depending on the carrier. Find FedExUPS and USPS drop-off locations.

Return Policy Details

For items returned within 90 days of receiving your order: You will receive a refund to your original method of payment (or an exchange/store credit if you prefer).

For items returned after 90 days: After 90 days you can exchange your purchase or return it for store credit up to 365 days. You have the choice between an immediate exchange (subject to availability) or store credit (to use later). You may either specify your preference with your return (via a brief note) or we will contact you while processing your return. If we are unable to reach you, we will issue store credit.

Processing Timeline: Once your return reaches us, we will process your return and issue your necessary refund, credit, and/or exchange. Returns may take up to 5 business days to process.

Refunds: Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment. Shipping charges are non-refundable, as described in Shipping Information. You will be notified via email when your return has been processed. Refunds may take 1-3 business days from the time of issuance to post (depending on your financial institution).

Store Credits: Store credits will be issued via an electronic gift card. You will be notified via email when your return has been processed.

For customers within the contiguous U.S., our Returns & Exchanges Portal will generate your pre-paid shipping label to return to the above address. For customers outside of the contiguous U.S., please ship returns to the above address.

Please do NOT mail your return back to the manufacturer. Some of our products ship directly from the product manufacturer, but all Performance Horse Blankets returns are processed at the above address.

How to Exchange an Item

Items can be exchanged up to 365 days after you have received your order, provided they are returned in new condition and with original packaging.

If you would like to exchange an item, the quickest and easiest way to receive your new item is to place a new order for that item, in which case we will ship your new item immediately. Separately, you can go ahead with returning your original item. Please follow the standard return instructions above using our Returns & Exchanges Portal. Once your return reaches us, we will process your return and issue your refund.

If you'd prefer not to place a second order for your new item, we are happy to exchange your item once we have received it as a return. In this case, please follow the return steps above and include a note that specifies the new product that you would like in exchange. We will make your exchange as soon as we have received and processed your return.

All exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Trying an Item for Fit

We understand the need to try an item on your horse or animal to ensure it fits. When doing so, please leave all original tags on your product until you are sure it fits. When trying on a product for fit, we encourage you to first put a clean sheet on your animal and then try the new item over the clean sheet. If a return is needed after trying an item on, please make sure the returned product is clean (which includes wiping off hair, dirt, etc.).

Items Not in New Condition and/or Missing Original Packaging

If items are not returned in new condition with original packaging, your return may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee. If you have any concerns, please contact us prior to returning your item, as we are here to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your Performance Horse Blankets shopping experience.

If you are experiencing quality/defect issues with your product, please begin a warranty claim (details below) before initiating your return.

Warranty (Manufacturing Issues & Product Defects)

If you experience a manufacturing issue or defect with your product, we will work directly with the manufacturer to evaluate and process a warranty claim on your behalf. If the issue or defect is deemed eligible to be covered under warranty, we work to get you a product replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Please contact us prior to returning a product for a manufacturing issue or defect. We will direct you you through the proper steps depending on your unique circumstance.

Order Issues (Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Product)

Although we strive to be error-free with order fulfillment, issues do arise from time to time. If an item is missing, damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us upon receiving your order. Our customer service team will work to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Shipping Fees

Shipping/delivery fees are non-refundable (including any applicable importing fees, taxes or duties on international orders). Please see Shipping Information for full details.

Our Price Match Guarantee

We are happy to offer our customers a Price Match Guarantee. Although we have a number of specific considerations for authorizing a price match, we try to make the process as straightforward as possible. Simply put: If you find the exact same product elsewhere, available to ship immediately, at a discounted price (inclusive of shipping cost), we will match that price.

This guarantee is available to our customers both prior to placing an order (i.e. we will discount an item for you as a "price match" before you have ordered) and for up to 14 days after placing your order (i.e. if you find this item cheaper within 14 days of placing your order, we will refund you to match the price).

Alaska/Hawaii and International Returns & Exchanges

Orders shipped to Alaska/Hawaii and any other international location outside of the contiguous U.S. are eligible to be returned under the policy described above. However, these returns are not eligible for free return shipping labels.

Alaska and Hawaii: We are able to offer a return shipping label (at our reduced shipping rates) for you to purchase. We offer this because our shipping labels are likely less expensive than what you would pay to ship your return. As a general guideline, the cost of your return shipping label will be similar to the shipping fee originally paid for your order. Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing a return shipping label.
